Coach Lanham
I’m extremely excited to be a part of the Student Leadership Academy Family. Know that I am truly eager to help students make strides along their journey of life. I started the teaching profession in 2003 and am still passionate and strive to leave a positive impact on any situation before me. I am not only passionate about my job but my family, faith, and having some fun. My three children, one grandchild, my husband, and my extended family keep me busy with their activities; we are a very active family in the Venice community. Even though I am usually occupied with spectating sports, I love to bike, play sports, work out, read, cook, be outdoors, and travel.

Coach Weidlein
Coach Weidlein was born and raised in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico Coach Weidlein and received an academic scholarship from Kent State University. There Coach Weidlein majored in Health and Physical Education and completed his degree in May of 2007. In 2009, Coach Weidlein completed his masters in Physical Education at the University of South Florida. He spent the last 15 years teaching H.O.P.E. and PE at Venice High. His wife, Amber, teaches at VHS, and they have two children.
Coach Weidlein will continue to coach football at VHS this year, and he is excited that he has become a part of the SLA family!
